When I was contacted by this new mom of a gorgeous newborn, I was thrilled. I LOVE newborn portraits. I truly wish that all new parents had the ability to have portraits taken of their new additions as soon as possible after birth. The babies change so much and grow so fast. Newborn portraits, to me, are the most significant way to look back and remember those nine months of pregnancy and the miracle that follows.
I spent the afternoon with the Monk family and it was amazing. Their angel of a baby boy was the most well behaved newborn model I have met. He was so sweet and didn't fuss at all. And, true to all newborn sessions, he didn't disappoint and Christened my backdrop and mom and dad with a little surprise! Yay!
Big sister was such a sweetheart and a great helper to me. The family was so cute together and so in love. It melted my heart. Here are a few of my favorites from the Monk family session.
